TCM Solutions, an ISO 9001 accredited company, is pleased to announce their recent certification to the internationally recognised ISO/IEC 20000 (ITIL) IT Service Management standard.

Future Events

8th - 10th October 2007 Euro ITUG – Brighton

The Euro ITUG event returns to the UK in 2007. As the premier ‘standalone’ HP NonStop event worldwide in 2007, this is an important event for anyone concerned with HP NonStop.

TCM will be in attendance and presenting two sessions at this important event and we hope to meet with you there.

The first session will be held on Tuesday 9th October from 12:15 - 13:00. This session is titled "HP NonStop Penetration Testing – Analysis of System Resources Used". This presentation highlights the effects of Denial of Service penetration (malignant or otherwise) of a NonStop system using standard TCP/IP tools such as echo, finger and port scans. It focuses on the ability of a potential intruder (without knowledge of the underlying HP NonStop technology) to discover and act upon weaknesses in the TCP/IP configuration which could lead to a potential Denial of Service to legitimate customers and users. The presentation highlights the performance impacts under various scenarios on the NonStop server and discusses how these potential intrusions can be detected and nullified through configuration and software changes  

The second session will be held same day at 15:00 - 15:45. This session is titled "ITIL / ISO20000 in a NonStop environment". This presentation provides an overview of ITIL and ISO20000 methodologies and why they are especially relevant to HP NonStop users. It focuses on the ways in which ITIL / ISO20000 can be used to improve the availability of HP NonStop systems and applications. The presentation will outline the experiences and findings of TCM Solutions in implementing these standards into the services provided to their customers and the benefits realised
